Está situado en el barrio de los doctores, cerca de la plaza de toros.

Para mí es uno de los mejores lugares para tapear en la barra y circular rondas.

No hay día que no esté repleto por las tapas tan generosas que ponen, tanto en invierno dentro como en verano, cuando ponen mesas en la calle..




Mirad que pedazo de tapa nos pusieron para 4 personas.




Recomiendo las tapas de pescado( calamares, puntillitas, pulpo.... ) , la carne en salsa y las roscas de lomo con roquefort.

CERVECERIA LA RIVIERA y CERVECERIA HANNINGAN & SONS. GRANADA. Calle Cetti Meriem 7 y 1

La Riviera es una cervecería situada entre la Gran Vía y la calle Elvira, con muy buena fama por las impresionantes tapas y raciones que tienen.
Es lugar de visita obligado cuando salgáis de tapeo por esta zona, aunque sea bastante difícil conseguir mesa.




El lugar parece medieval, con paredes de ladrillo, figuras de metal y madera, etc...
Suele estar repleto de estudiantes y de gente jóven.
En general son bastante generosos con las tapas, bocadillos, roscas, etc



Suelo ir allí cuando viene gente de visita a Granada.





Justo al lado hay una cervecería Irlandesa ( Hannigan & Sons ) que suele estar repleta también casi siempre de gente jóven y extranjeros. Es un local bastante amplio, de madera oscura, con muchos lugares para sentarse y charlar y, sobre todo donde ponen muy buena música.

EL NIDO DEL BUHO. GRANADA. Plaza San Pantaleón

Es sin duda uno de los mejores sitios de tapas de Granada. Está en pleno barrio de los doctores, en la plaza de San Pantaleón, cerca de la plaza de toros. Mis amigos, que conocían poco el arte de las tapas, no tenían palabras cuando sirvieron "las cervezas, las tapas de lomo con alioli, las aceitunas y los cacahuetes por 1,50 por cabeza"
Está claro que el éxito de este bar es, a parte de que no escatiman en cantidad, lo buenas que están las tapas.
En verano aprovechan la calle para aumentar el número de mesas.

LO MEJOR: La cantidad. Las tapas y las aceitunas.

LO PEOR: No esperes que te sirvan si está muy lleno. Debes acudir a la barra a recogerlo.

Es mi sitio preferido cuando viajo dirección Murcia o vuelvo a Granada.
Está a 130 Km de Granada, justo al inicio de la provincia. Especialidad en carne a la brasa, cordero, codornices, perdices, pollo y conejo.
Tiene un aparcamiento inmenso, para coches y camiones. Es conocido por muchas personas que viajan, y aprovechan para comer o cenar allí. Casi siempre está lleno. La primera vez que fuí me llamó la atención la cantidad de camiones a pié de autovía.



A la entrada tiene una pequeña tienda, donde venden recordatorios, embutidos, dulces y pan del pueblo. Recomiendo la barra de pan casero; vaya tostadas a la semana siguiente.......
Tiene una barra-bar al fondo y un gran salon a la derecha.
Cuando voy con prisa voy al bar, pero para almorzar o cenar voy al restaurante.
El restaurante tiene más de 100 mesas y parece el interior de un castillo medieval



Casi siempre pido menú, unos 8,5 euros ( primero, segundo, postre y café ). La comida es casera e incluye sopas, verduras fritas, gazpacho, carnes a la leña ( cordero, solomillo de cerdo, pollo, ternera, conejo, pescados ) y buenos postres como natillas, cuajada con miel o arroz con leche caseros.

LO MEJOR: Parada de rutina siempre que viajo dirección Murcia. He ido más de 30 ocasiones y siempre me he marchado satisfecho. El servicio en el restaurante ha sido bastante rápido en las últimas ocasiones.

LO PEOR: Muy lleno algunas veces, incluso autobuses paran allí. Mucho frio en invierno, incluso nieve.

In the entrance it has a small store, where they sell reminders, inlays, candies and bread of the town. I recommend the homemade bread; You could toast it in the following week .......
It has a sweep-bar in the bottom and a great hall in the right. When I go with haste I go to the bar, but to have lunch or to have supper I go to the restaurant.
The restaurant has more than 100 tables and seems the interior of a medieval castle I request menu almost always, about 8.5 euros (first, second, dessert and coffee). The food is homemade and includes fried soups, vegetables, gazpacho, meats to the firewood (lamb, sirloin of pig, chicken, calf, rabbit, fish) and good desserts like natillas, materialized with homemade honey or rice with milk. RESTAURANTE-MERENDERO LA HUERTECILLA. CONCHAR. GRANADA.

Al sur de granada, en el valle de Lecrin se encuentra el pueblo de Conchar.
Es una tierra fértil, donde abundan además de olivos, almendros, granados, naranjos, limoneros, vid y productos de la huerta.
Debemos dirigirnos desde Granada hacia Motril, hacia la salida Durcal, Albuñuelas, Conchar, Cozvijar. El pueblo está aunos 4 kilómetros.
Es una zona muy tranquila, rodeada de montañas y con agua abundante. Limita con Sierra Nevada y con las Alpujarras.


El restaurante-merendero " La Huertecilla " es bien conocido en el pueblo y por los visitantes de las múltiples casas rurales de la zona. Me gustó por su comida tradicional casera, que se empieza a echar de menos en las grandes ciudades. La familiaridad del personal, y la comida que recuerda a nuestros abuelos. Tomates y productos de su propia huerta, incluyendo albaricoques recién cogidos del arbol. Papas a lo pobre con un chorizo y morcilla para chuparse los dedos, lomo con ajos, conejo, y todo tipo de carnes de la tierra.







Si queréis choto hay que avisar unos días antes y os lo preparan. Para el arroz hay que avisar también unas cuantas horas antes.
Además hay lugares donde venden mosto de la tierra.



Sinceramente lo recomiendo, por que se come mucho mejor que en la ciudad, a muy buen precio y permite evadirse del estrés de la ciudad.

BAR TERUEL. GRANADA. BARRIO DE LA CHANA. c/ Salmón, 2

Emblemático Bar situado en el Barrio de la Chana.
Es casi siempre mi primera parada cuando llego a la zona, fundamentalmente porque me desvivo por sus calamares fritos con patatas que dan como primera tapa.
Precisamente esa tapa es la que le ha dado solera al local, además de por sus cervezas f r i a s , hamburguesas y demás tapas.

Lugar totalmente recomendado para comer bocadillos ( los mejores bocadillos de Granada )
Es conocido por los granadinos desde 1947 y también por muchos turistas. ( Figura en la guia Trotamundos ) Está situado en una pequeña calle peatonal entre la Plaza del ayuntamiento y La Plaza Bib-Rambla. Si no te invita alguien que ya lo conozca o has oído hablar de él es casi imposible localizarlo por iniciativa propia.
Tiene gran cantidad de bocadillos a elegir, frios o calientes, grandes o medios.
Algunos bocadillos han cobrado preferencia e historia, siendo los más demandados por parte del público. El más conocido el el "perrito" ; salchichas caseras hechas cocidas en vino blanco y salsa de tomate. Otros conocidos son el bocadillo de habas con jamón, bocadillo de ensaladilla, bocadillo de alcachofas y anchoas...
A pesar de estar lleno, el trato fué excelente y con una rapidez envidiable en otros lugares.

LO MEJOR: Los mejores bocadillos de Granada. Recomiendo el perrito, habas con jamón y ensaladilla.

LO PEOR: No haberlo conocido antes

BAR CA MIGUEL Y BAR LOS PESCADORES. GRANADA. Dr. Pareja Yébenes

Situados, al igual que el Nido del buho, en el Barrio de los doctores, cerca de la plaza de toros. Casi siempre voy primero a los pescadores y después al Ca Miguel, así que los pongo juntos.
Los dos son muy buenos bares de tapas, a muy buen precio.
En el bar los pescadores solemos pedir, calamares o patatas con alioli.
En el Ca Miguel, casi siempre culmino la noche con una hamburguesa ( pan, carne, huevo, bacon, lechuga, tomate, mayonesa...). Tremenda¡¡
