TABERNA LA DESPENSA. GRANADA. CARRETERA DE ARMILLA- PARQUE COMERCIAL SAN ISIDRO. EDIFICIO C.A.M.T.

Aunque parece que lleva mucho tiempo lo descubrimos por casualidad no hace mucho. El restaurante está situado en el parque comercial San Isidro, casi al lado del hotel Ibis y muy cerca de la gasolinera Galp que hay casi en la rotonda de la salida Armilla de la autovía ( ver mapa ).

En invierno está en los bajos del edificio y en verano abren una terraza en toda la parte superior del edificio. Para acceder en verano hay que utilizar el propio ascensor del edificio hasta la cuarta planta.









Nos ha sorprendido por muchos motivos; por lo bien que se está en la terraza, a pesar de tener muy cerca la autovía, por el trato y la atención que son bastante buenas, y sobre todo por la comida.



Si tuviera que recomendar algo, sin duda unas croquetas de jamón impresionantes que están de muerte. Cuestan a 2,5 euros la unidad pero con 2 o 3 basta casi para cenar. También muy recomendadas las alcachofas rebozadas con miel y las tablas de ibéricos y quesos
La carne a la brasa está especialmente buena sobre todo en verano, cuando montan la barbacoa en la terraza. Hay que probar el solomillo y el secreto ibérico.
La cerveza, como debe ser siempre fria, muy fria.
También hay que probar el pulpo a la gallega y los revueltos de espárragos y setas.




Las tapas que ponen no son excesivamente abundantes pero son de calidad. Recomendado para ir de raciones.

Although it seems that what has long time opened, I discovered that place by accident not long ago. The restaurant is located in the San Isidro business park, almost next to the Ibis hotel and the gas station Galp that there are almost at the roundabout junction of the highway Armilla (see map).

In winter is in the basement of the building in summer and open a terrace across the top of the building. To access in summer we must use the same elevator of the building until the fourth floor.

We were surprised by many reasons, for the well being on the terrace, despite having very near the highway, for the treatment and care which are quite good, especially for food.

If I had to recommend something, no doubt about ham croquettes that are impressive. They cost at 2.5 euros each but with 2 or 3 nearly enough for dinner. Also highly recommended artichokes coated with honey and tables and Iberian cheese
The grilled meat is particularly good especially in summer when the assembled barbecue on the terrace. We must prove tenderloin and the "Iberian secret".
The beer, as it should always be cold, very cold.
We must also try the "pulpo a la gallega" ( octopus ) and scrambled asparagus and mushrooms.

The "tapas" are not abundant but they are special quality. I Recommended to take rations.
